Student Testimonies

This course was a blessing to me! I was enjoying the New Testament, but was overwhelmed with the Old Testament. After Laura‘s class, I was equipped to understand it, and learned it too was beautifully filled with God‘s love and forgiveness.

Laura is an awesome, intelligent and dedicated teacher. Her class will equip you to enjoy reading the Bible using her many helpful charts and tools.  I would highly recommend this course to all!

Laura made the OT & NT more focused on Jesus by tying history with new perspective.  It meant a great deal more than the Bible history classes in college.  I realized how much I rely on others instead of letting God speak to me through His Word and the need to read 4x, not just once.  Thank you.

The OT and all the visuals are absolutely terrific and so helpful.  Laura has a God-given gift of making it plain and easy to understand.  I loved everything about the seminar.

Equipped” is a wonderful reminder of all the tools we can use, with which we are blessed, to study the Bible.  Laura knows the Bible like a Pastor knows the Bible.  She explains how to use the tools of the Bible and those tools available to us outside of the Bible.  She explains how the different books of the Bible relate and explain each other and point to Christ.  Laura is an awesome, knowledgeable teacher for all, whether you’ve grown up in the church or you are a new believer.

I would like to do this one again.   I feel like I learned about the OT so much. Also, it was good to learn the inductive method.  Thanks so much!

It really helped me to understand the OT.  I will use my folder as a reference when studying the OT.  Thank you for the time and effort to prepare and present this program.

Laura has done an exceptional job. In her presentation, she not only teaches the material presented in the outline, but has slides detailing chronological events in the Bible with historical records and maps of the regions at the time. I have learned so much that I know find I have a better appreciation of what I am reading when I open my Bible. I highly recommend this course and Laura’s teaching.

I have studied extensively throughout a lifetime and I was very satisfied.

This study has given me new eyes on the organization of the Bible which again, to me, shows the almighty wisdom of our God and His Word.  It truly is a living book which one will never totally master no matter how much or how many times one studies it.

Come and Be Filled with the Holy Spirit

This is a life changing course. It changed mine learning about being filled with the Holy Spirit and Spiritual Breathing. I take you on my journey through the Bible with everything about the Holy Spirit. 150 min of video, 5 lessons + handouts.

A tiny peek, at one point of view, of Laura Sanders’ gifts as a Bible study leader.

Three words, spoken by a friend encouraged me to attend her Bible study. Describing the leader of a Bible study, my friend said, “She’s really good!” These words were soon validated, in a host of ways. Laura Sanders fulfills the promise of being a “good” Bible study leader. One pleasant surprise was my greeting. Even as a first time visitor, I was welcomed and accepted, as though I was a long time member. It was relaxed and comfortable. Laura’s faith and love for the Bible shapes her enthusiasm and commitment for teaching. Preparations for every lesson includes, thorough research, from a variety of sources. Before each class, notes are e-mailed to each participant to follow during the lesson, for information, questions and review.

The way Laura responds to questions demonstrates respect in multiple ways, for the Bible, as well as for participants. When questions or comments come up, she listens carefully and is open to alternative views. She validates questions, comments and/or the speaker. After a discussion, these are frequently, woven back into the lesson. Knowing that some people have other events scheduled, Laura also shows respect, by paying attention to the allotted time for the lessons. As a result, the absence of ‘clock-checking’ avoids distraction and builds dependability and trust, knowing that Laura is concerned about the individuals in the group. She builds trust. Participants know that she has concern about the individuals, and will end the class accordingly. Laura knows every person, as a valued individual and interacts accordingly.

Honesty strengthens dependability and trustworthiness. Laura is honest about her personal challenges and struggles, about her beliefs and biases and even about past mistakes, which can also, sometimes demonstrate her delightful sense of humor.

As a Bible study leader (or Life Coach*), Laura communicates her passion for learning, teaching, sharing her faith and caring for others. In many respects, these passions manifests as a learner and teacher—both a participant and a guide. Laura is smart, quick to catch on, anxious and willing to learn and to share her knowledge

The succinct conclusion and accurately stated, is: “She’s really good!”

Thank you, Lord of All, for the joy of learning from Laura.
