Laura Sanders fulfills the promise of being a “good” Bible study leader. One pleasant surprise was my greeting. Even as a first time visitor, I was welcomed and accepted, as though I was a long time member. It was relaxed and comfortable. Laura’s faith and love for the Bible shapes her enthusiasm and commitment for teaching. Preparations for every lesson includes, thorough research, from a variety of sources. Before each class, notes are e-mailed to each participant to follow during the lesson, for information, questions and review.
The way Laura responds to questions demonstrates respect in multiple ways, for the Bible, as well as for participants. When questions or comments come up, she listens carefully and is open to alternative views. She validates questions, comments and/or the speaker. After a discussion, these are frequently, woven back into the lesson.
